Kaplan University - Online University Review

Kaplan University is comprised of an online school and several campus locations that aim to make higher education accessible for nontraditional students who need to manage flexible schedules. Kaplan utilizes many technology programs to help students feel connected despite the fact that they aren’t learning in a typical classroom.

Kaplan University has a well-known reputation for providing educational and career resources to all types of students.
Kaplan University Online has collaborated with the UAH Salmon Library at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, AL, to offer students access to books, manuscripts, government documents and more resources.
Kaplan University offers many different degree programs at the Associate’s, certificate, Bachelor, Masters, diploma and JD levels.

Students will not get a traditional college experience with in-person class discussions, athletic teams or dorm living at Kaplan University Online.
Some students who need more teacher-student interaction may find it difficult to become involved in class if they can’t meet with classmates and professors in person.
Students attending on-campus classes may feel disconnected from the greater Kaplan community, since there isn’t a central location and students are spread out all over the world.

Kaplan students are enrolled in programs on campus in several Iowa and Nebraska locations, as well as online.

Kaplan University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
From Computer Information Systems to Paralegal Studies to Massage Therapy to Office Management to Criminal Justice, Kaplan offers many different programs at varying levels.
Even some of Kaplan’s online programs require students to complete an internship, helping them learn real-life skills.

During their time at Kaplan, students are encouraged to branch out into the community to pursue professional prospects and gain real-life experience.

Kaplan University welcomes all types of financial aid, from federal grants to state grants to federal loans and other scholarships. Kaplan also supports a federal and state work study program
