Argosy University has campuses in several locations around the United States including Arizona, California, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Washington, and more. The university is the result of the merging of the American Schools of Professional Psychology, the University of Sarasota, and the Medical Institute of Minnesota. Argosy University is a for-profit college.

Argosy University Online Programs

Argosy University has a separate online program that provides students with the flexibility to take completely online courses that fit into their busy schedules. The online program offers four Bachelor Degrees in the areas of Psychology, Business, Liberal Arts, and Criminal Justice. The university also offers 10 Master's Degrees in Management, Public Administration, Forensic Pathology, Business Administration, and other subjects. Six Doctoral Programs are available as well.

Argosy University Online Accreditation

Argosy University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission as well as being a member of the North Central Association. It is a regionally accredited school. Many of the Doctoral Programs are accredited by the American Psychological Association.

Argosy University Online Tuition & Financial Aid

The tuition at Argosy is charged per credit hour. The rate for undergraduate programs is $510 per hour and thus $6120 per 12 hour semester. The Master Programs are $625 per hour and $7500 per semester with the Education and Public Administration Master Programs costing slightly less. Doctoral Program costs are $827 per hour and $9924 per semester. There is a doctoral residency fee of $1,100 in addition to tuition. Argosy University is accredited and as such it is eligible to receive federal financial aid funds. Students applying for PLUS or Stafford loans or Pell Grants must fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before applying. The school is approved for some Veterans Administration benefits and students who believe they may qualify for these benefits must seek the proper forms from the financial aid department.
