Online University - American University

American University is located in Washington, D.C., and is recognized by the University Senate of the United Methodist Church. It is a widely recognized school for its high academic standards and has been ranked 13th in the nation for offering the best career students to students in the 2008 Princeton Review. American University also encourages students to become engaged on an international level, promoting study abroad, international fellowships, and the understanding of global affairs and issues, no matter what a student’s major is.
